Back in June, our neighbourhood playground a block away from our house was demolished for safety reasons. In August, Paul and I both helped out with the re-building efforts but it took until this past weekend to re-open. The weather was beautiful this morning (unlike our frosty day yesterday!) so Claire and I checked out her new playground. The verdict? She loves it! 
Hitching a ride in the dune buggy her daddy helped build.

What a super playground! You're so fortunate to have such a great play space so close to home. Kudos to you guys for helping with the rebuilding, I bet it feels extra-special to have had a part in the playground Claire plays in!
The playground looks amazing. Maeve's eyes almost bugged out when she saw it. "Wow, can we go there?". Claire looks like she is loving it.
Awesome playground. Looks like Claire is having a great time. Nothing like enjoying a beautiful Autumn day outdoors. It supposed to be 26 degrees here tomorrow...I think we may take a trip to the park as well.
I've never seen a dune buggy like that. Very cool. I don't know why, but the new playgrounds around us only have a tire swing, not a baby or child swings. I'm hoping swings may be added in the future. I feel a lot more comfortable letting Caia play on the safer new equipment. I cringe when I think of the injuries kids would get on the old metal slides.
