Monday - a Xinyu Sisters' reunion

Paul, Claire and I were ecstatic to meet Shea, Caia, Raelene, Girard and Bryn for breakfast on Monday morning. It was great to finally see the girls in person again after following their lives on their blogs - I knew they had grown and changed a lot but to see it in person was amazing.

Claire wasn't quite herself during the visit (I think she was a tad overstimulated on the weekend!) but she enjoyed herself nonetheless. I've posted some pictures of the three together. Check out Claire's bags under her eyes (poor kid - I had to wake her up to get her ready for our visit). Bryn is in the pink and orange; Caia is in the white Easter sweater.

Thanks, Shea, for having us over for breakfast, and thank you Rae and Girard for making the effort to see us as well!

Oh, we miss you guys sooooo much! It's heartwarming to see the girls together....

The pictures with your families are great...I especially love the one of Claire with her grandfather doing the "head-butting" ritual. It's so nice to have our girls home finally and surrounded by their family.

Thanks for all the great pics!

So great to see all those photos! Nice they could share their birthday celebrations. Happy birthday today Claire! We laughed so hard at the headbutting too because here we do it too, but it's called "bonking heads" at our house. Those Xinyu sisters sure share lots:)
Have a great day, big girl Claire. Welcome to the 1 year old club, glad to have you:)

Happy 1st Birthday, Claire! We hope you have a very special day.

It was so great to visit with everyone and see the girls together. We wish all of the babies could have been there as we sure miss everyone.

Sending lots of birthday hugs to Claire...we love your head butting video!

Happy Birthday Claire!

It was great to see all of you this weekend. It brought back memories of the tight-knit group we had in China. I miss having that on a day-to-day basis. I'm glad we can all keep in touch and watch our babies grow.
