Ni hao!

In the fall of 2005, Paul and I took mandarin lessons. We don't know whether Claire will be from a Mandarin-speaking area or not, but regardless, we think that Mandarin would be a good second language to learn.

Although very difficult to learn, we find Mandarin fascinating. I enjoy learning the spoken language but Paul also enjoys learning the characters for reading and writing.
